Martin Meyer - Composer and Solo Performer

Martin is a South Dakota native, schooled in Los Angeles at the Grove School of Music. A featured singer, songwriter, and piano player, his style is “smooth and expressive”, and reflects a lifelong love of music.

His debut CD of instrumental piano music entitled - ‘Great Sky,’ has earned many glowing reviews....

“Deeply expressive and melodic...this soundtrack flavored piano music evokes a peaceful and inspired feeling......the music, reminiscent of George Winston's work, wanders peacefully from one song to the next.....a welcome break from the general chaos of everyday living...it is the peace at the end of a hectic day.”

In addition to experience in live performance, arranging, and education, Marty’s portfolio includes studio session work, collaboration on independent film scoring projects, and most notably his original keyboard demonstration music for Yamaha Musical Instruments. He currently resides in the Southern Black Hills with his wife and two children, where he’s often found creating and producing in his project studio - Great Sky Music.
